yea i dont miss notes, and i wasent telling you to sing lol, just getting my point across it can be a bit heavy if your gigging. im in a punk pop band so i kinda have to bunny hop like an idiot lol. still love my les paul XD

I have a gibson les …
I have a gibson les paul standard, and also a fender strat (hwy 1), and yes i know how the difference feels. I don’t sing, so I also don’t sing perfectly into a mic, I don’t miss notes because I practice hard, words I don’t have to remember, because I don’t sing. I do occasionaly run around, and sometimes jump (bunny hop), and I play alot more than 2 hours. But your absolutely right, Slash is always standing still with his goldtop…

okok, get a les paul. jump up and down for 2 hours, dont miss a note, remember all your words, sing perfectly into a mike, and tell me you wouldent prefer to have somthing lighter. les pauls are for stand still guitarists.

Can’t compare the two its apples and oranges. I personaly like the sound of the SG. I just recently picked up a 61 reissue.

i never got around …
i never got around to trying one because everyone said they were too heavy, so i finally tried one and my god its like carrying a ing stack of bricks. id rather not suffer longterm spinal cord injury for a little more sustain, thanks much.
